"An Evening of Christmas Stories To Warm The *Cockles of Your Heart"

“An Evening of Christmas Stories To Warm The *Cockles of Your Heart”

Re-Story Theater and the Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle will present an evening of theatrical storytelling – moving pieces of classic American Christmas literature and a unique experiential one-act play, narrated with humor and conversation by Margaret Louise Gray (Melea J. Brock) a semi-retired librarian and researcher. All of this literary goodness – sure to warm the cockles of your heart – will be topped off with holiday cookies, festive drink and meaningful conversation with the cast, led by Margaret, of course.

“Cockles of the Heart” refers to the deepest part of the heart, where the most vulnerable feelings or emotions have likely been felt. To “warm the cockles of your heart” means to bring happiness or contentment to a person.

The Salvation Army’s Red Kettles will be present for thoughtful giving at each performance.

For Ages 7-107 years! (May not be appropriate for 5/6 year olds due to mature content.)
